By accessing or using ontype.ca ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What we offer
OnType provides personality typing content, a free online personality assessment, digital books and guides for purchase, and one-on-one advising sessions. All content is for informational and educational purposes.
Personality assessment
The personality assessment is a self-report tool based on the Beebe eight-function model of Jungian typology. It is not a clinical or diagnostic instrument. Results are meant to support self-understanding and should not be used as a substitute for professional psychological evaluation. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of any result.
Advising sessions
Advising sessions are educational conversations about personality type. They are not therapy, counseling, or medical advice. James is a personality type practitioner, not a licensed psychologist or therapist. If you need mental health support, please consult a qualified professional.
Digital products
All books and guides sold on the Site are digital products delivered electronically. Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase, contact us and we will resolve it.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, book content, assessment questions, and page designs, is the property of OnType and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content without written permission.
You may share links to any page on the Site. You may not copy substantial portions of book content, assessment questions, or page text for use elsewhere.
User conduct
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access restricted areas of the Site or its systems
- Scrape, copy, or republish Site content without permission
- Interfere with the operation of the Site
Limitation of liability
OnType provides the Site and its content "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, its content, the assessment, or advising sessions. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
Governing law
